Photography Based on Movies

Posted in Uncategorized

Everyone who knows me, knows I get most of my inspiration from movies.  One of the main challenges of making your photography look like it came from movies is the image size and more importantly the image ratio.  So I decided to fix that and make a few pictures I took earlier this summer into movie format.  I’ll be posting more later once I play around with them more.

Fine Art Clouds Large Update

Besides portraiture i also enjoy creating fine art.   I’ve previously posted some of my fine art but these are from a new digital series I’ve been working on.   These are the first of many digital paintings I’ve created and can’t wait to release all of them.  Now when I say digital paintings, some of them are all digitally created and some are composites.  Either way I think Mr. Bob Ross would be proud! Georgetown Portraits – Amazing Clients!

Perfect Clients Updates1

I am super excited today… I just found out i will be doing some really creative and elegant portraits for a corporate client in Georgetown dc.  They were really inspired by the Vanity Fair Oscar Party Portraits and want something very simular to that.  They even have a printout of some of their favorites just in case I wasn’t familiar with them.  I really didn’t need the printout because I was already familiar with Mark Seliger’s work. US National Arboretum Engagement Photos

Well not really engagement pictures but still at the National Arboretum in Washington DC. I guess these are more of a couples session than an engagement session because this couple is already engaged and already married. Anyways, I love how these came out and how good this couple looks. Here’s a few highlights and some of these ended up in the portfolio which is always nice.

PHOTO DELIVERY: How do I get my pictures?

PassExamples-35Copy

One of the many FAQ’s I get is “How do I receive my pictures?”.  It’s a great question actually because I don’t use USB drives or CDs.  I use a program that allows me to upload all the pictures we took in your engagement, wedding, or portrait session to a custom URL for you.

Here’s a few examples on how it looks and how it works.

This is what you see when you go to your URL.   A giant cover photo along with a few options.  Now if you scroll down you will see all the pictures of the session so you can view and look through them all.
